Where is the hotel located?

We are located at 719 Ash Street, San Diego, CA 92101 which is in a quiet downtown area, just 4 blocks from the Gaslamp District.

How do I make a reservation?

Do you provide wireless internet service at your facility?

Yes. We have free wireless in all our rooms and suites.

Do you serve breakfast?

Yes, we have a complimentary breakfast with hot waffles.

Where and when is the breakfast served?

It is served daily from 6:30 AM to 9:30 AM in our spacious breakfast room.

I am travelling with my pet. Do you allow pets at your hotel?

Yes, we are a pet-friendly hotel. We allow 1 pet per room, 35 pounds or under.

Is there a pet fee?

Yes, there is a $75.00 one time non-refundable pet fee.

Do you provide shuttle service and how much does it cost?

Yes, we have a 24 hours shuttle service, operated by ‘Park and Glide’ to San Diego International Airport and the Cruiseship Terminal which is absolutely free for our guests.

Do you have parking available on the property?

Yes. We have ample of parking spaces, provided by ‘Park and Glide’, in our open lot and underground garage.

Is there a parking fee?

There’s a parking fee of $16 per day, per car, with in and out privileges. This fee is applicable only if the guest requires parking in our open lot or the underground garage. When parking is requested, we issue a ‘Park and Glide’ parking permit which the guest is required to display on the dashboard.

Is it okay to park a vehicle without a parking permit?

No. Any vehicle parked on the property without a valid ‘Park and Glide’ parking permit will be towed at vehicle’s owner’s expense.

How many floors does the hotel have?

There are 3 floors.

Is there an elevator on the property?

Yes, for your convenience, we do have an elevator on the property.

How many rooms are there at the Rodeway Inn & Suites Downtown?

We have 60 standard rooms with either 1 King or 2 Double beds, 1 two-room suite with 2 Double beds, and 6 mini suites with 1 King bed. The 6 mini suites have a divider separating the sleeping area from the sitting area which has a pull-out couch. So, in all there are 67 rooms at the Rodeway Inn & Suites Downtown.

Do you have any smoking rooms?

Yes, we have 2 smoking rooms. They are standard rooms with 2 Double beds. All our suites are non-smoking.

What amenities do you provide in your guest rooms?

All our rooms include a coffee maker, hair dryer, iron and ironing board. Every room also includes a safe.

Is there a fridge or microwave in the room?

All our suites include In-room Fridge and Microwave. Although our standard rooms do not have a fridge or microwave in them, we do have a microwave in the lobby which is available to the guest 24/7.

Are there any restaurants nearby?

There is Indigo Café just a block away which also provides free delivery service to our guests. We also have Café Sole Luna across the street from us. There are over a hundred restaurants and bars, specializing in various cuisines from around the world, located in or around the Gaslamp District which is at a walking from the hotel.

What are the nearby attractions?

Besides the famous Gaslamp District, we are ata walking distance to the Convention Center, Petco Park, Balboa Park, Seaport Village, Civic Center, Harbor and several museums, including the Maritime Museum and USS Midway. The world famous San Diego Zoo and San Diego SeaWorld are just 5 and 10 minutes away respectively. Qualcomm Stadium too is just 10 mins from the hotel. Other attractions serving the San Diego area are Legoland and San Diego Wild Animal Park which are about 40 mins away.

Which is the nearest airport?

The nearest airport is the Lindbergh Field/San Diego International Airport which is just 7 minutes from the hotel.

Is there public transit close to the hotel?

Yes. There is a trolley station just 4 blocks from the hotel.

Do you provide laundry facility?

For the convenience of our guests, we do have coin-operated laundry machines across the hotel.

Do you provide same day dry-cleaning service?

Yes, as long as the clothes are brought to the front desk by 8:30 AM.
